We pride ourselves on providing a fun, enjoyable experience for our customers, whether they visit our Bakery in Covent Garden or hop on board our popular Afternoon Tea Bus Tours. Brigit’s Bakery provides L’Afternoon Tea; the unique combination of a fine English tradition, fused with a delicate French twist.

With over 6000 customers a month on several 1960’s Routemaster Buses, and 2000 more in our Covent Garden Bakery, we have become the main afternoon tea supplier in London. Our offices are located in Bermondsey, 10 minute’s walk from the tube station. Brigit’s has become a cultural landmark in London, by combining afternoon tea and sightseeing all in one. Not only do we run daily tours; the company is continuously booked for films, product launches, weddings, corporate events, Hen do’s and many more.

Marketing Assistant

Brigit’s Bakery is looking for a highly organised, creative, and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our in-house team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting the marketing efforts behind our iconic Afternoon Tea Bus Tour experiences.

Location: Bermondsey, London (In-House, full-time role)

Key Attributes & Skills

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident handling admin tasks and managing processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to understand market trends and measure campaign effectiveness
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • A collaborative team player

Key Responsibilities

Team & Admin Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the senior Marketing Team
  • Assist and report to the CEO and General Manager
  • Prepare monthly sales/booking reports and performance insights from booking platforms

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Digital marketing management: liaising with external social media team and social ad agency
  • Managing email schedule and campaigns (Mailchimp)
  • Manage, update and respond to business listings, customer reviews and social media enquiries (Tripadvisor, Google My Business, Bing Places, etc.)
  • Engage in relevant online communities (FB groups, chat groups, Reddit, etc.) to build brand awareness
  • Conduct backlink outreach and support SEO initiatives
  • Assist in updating partner content pages
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to manage the affiliate program (Tradedoubler)

Campaigns & Project Management

  • Support with ideas and implementation of marketing campaigns, including new launches
  • Assist with managing brand license collaborations, including asset approvals and ongoing communications
  • Liaise with licensee partners to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
  • Project manage the rollout of campaigns in coordination with marketing teams

Creative & Content Support & Event Coordination

  • Help plan and organise photo and video shoots, including sourcing models and props
  • Work with the team to define core image sets for press, web, and partner usage
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining an image review and usage process
  • Attend private hire events to take photos and liaise with guests
  • Help organise and coordinate promotional events, conferences and trade shows

Market Research, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Conduct research to identify target audience needs, market trends and competitor activities
  • Track the progress and results of marketing campaigns, gather data and help create reports and presentations to show campaign effectiveness and insights
