“We found maybe the coolest way to do afternoon tea in London: we’re going to be doing a tour around London, we’re going to be served tea and all sorts of other nice little delights on an awesomeold-school red London bus!This is probably the most like British thing we could do in London!
They have a bunch of different teas on the menu, they also have coffee and the tea comes in little cups with a nice screw top We’ve got little sandwiches, some quiche, and of course on top we have all sorts of sweet treats that look really good.
They give you this adorable little map that shows you the route that we’re going to be taken: we’re going through Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, around Buckingham Palace… all over this city!We’re currently in Notting Hill which is, of course, a famous area, in part because there’s a movie about it and it made the area famous because it was filmed around there.They also brought us some clotted cream, some jam and a couple of scones. I didn’t know that we were going to get proper scones and cream! That’s awesome!They gave us a lot more food than I thought they were going to and there’s no way we were going to finish everything. So, we were hoping they’d give us and take away boxes and they did! This way, you don’t have to stuff your face like I originally thought we were going to have. We can be classy and take it for later and we can all keep the cap: the cap is a gift!The tour was a lot of fun, enjoyable and super relaxing. We didn’t know how much or how little they were going to tell us, but it was about an hour and a half and they give you the highlights of what you’re driving by. So, we got to learn a little bit more about the city. We’ve done walking tours, so we know a lot of the little tidbits, but we did learn some new things”.
