Did you know that October 6th is WORLD SMILE DAY? What better way to illuminate smiles than hosting a Children's Tea Party?

In honor of this special day and to bolster one of our beloved charities, we are delighted to announce that we will contribute 10% of all bookings made on October 6th, spanning our bus tours and various afternoon tea experiences, to the Spread a Smile charity. Your participation not only promises a delightful experience but also contributes to bringing joy to those who need it most.

Introducing our partnership with Spread a Smile

We take great pride in our ongoing support for Spread a Smile, one of our selected charities. Our shared commitment to spreading joy aligns seamlessly with our motto, #MakeLondonSmile, driving our mission to bring smiles to every corner of the capital.

So, who are Spread a Smile? The charity "brings joy and hope to seriously ill children in hospitals, hospices, and homes across the UK. Through in-person and virtual visits, their renowned entertainers (from magicians to face-painters and musicians to therapy dogs) generate moments of distraction and excitement, helping young patients and their families to face their significant health challenges with optimism and positivity."

Jump on the Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

When it comes to kids' parties, it doesn't get any better than touring London onboard a Peppa Pig-themed double-decker bus, does it? Perfect for young children (and for their parents too), our Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour is available weekly from Thursdays to Sundays with two to three daily departure times from Somerset House.

Our chefs have outdone themselves with this super special Peppa Pig-themed afternoon tea menu. All the freshly prepared savouries and bite-sized homemade cakes and tarts are Peppa Pig-inspired. We have finger food (including a Freddy Fox's Egg and Cress sandwich and a Mandy Mouse's Cheddar Cheese sandwich) and the most unique and delicious sweet treats. What do you think about trying Suzy Sheep’s Chocolate Truffle Sprinkled with confetti or even Rebecca Rabbit’s Carrot Cupcake with a cream cheese topping? Those are definitely some of our all-time favourites. And of course, to accompany our scones, we have hot chocolate for the little ones and a choice of tea or coffee for the adults.

The best part? Each table comes with a special built-in tablet providing our lovely guests with a Peppa Pig-guided animation of the London tour along with sing-a-long songs that the whole family will enjoy. Your little piggies will also be excited to receive a copy of our Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour Activity Book full of fun things to enjoy at home.

Hire the Peppa Pig Bus

Did you know that our buses are available for private hire? If you're hosting a party for your child and are looking for the most fun party ever, then why not hire out our Peppa Pig vintage Routemaster bus? It's the same themed bus we use for our tours, so you'll be able to enjoy our special built-in tablets with on-tap Peppa Pig entertainment.

Our driver will take you past some of the most famous London landmarks. And that includes Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and many more. It's basically your own private tour of London!

When it comes to food, our traditional Peppa Pig afternoon tea menu is available for all your guests. But if you have any particular preferences or dietary requirements, we can also offer alternative Peppa Pig-themed options. That includes Vegan, Vegetarian, Halal, and Gluten-free. Just head over to this page and scroll to the bottom to see the menus. We'll also provide a free Peppa Pig takeaway mug for every guest and party bags for leftover treats!

Depending on the number of your guests, you can hire only part of the bus. The lower deck is ideal for up to 16 people, and the upper deck is for up to 28 people. But if you have between 35 and 44 guests, then you're welcome to hire the whole bus! Prices vary depending on when you wish to host your party (either during the week or on the weekend).

Host a Peppa Pig tea party at home

If you're hosting a tea party at home, then let us worry about the party food. We know that when it comes to organising birthday parties at your place, things can get a bit stressful and messy for the grown-ups (anyone ever ended up with melted chocolate on the floor?). That's why we'll be more than happy to deliver our Peppa Pig afternoon tea directly to your door.

As with all things Brigit's Bakery, this is children's tea with a twist. If your children turn their nose up at plain ham and cheese sandwiches, traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and shop-bought chocolate cupcakes, then you can be sure they'll enjoy our Peppa Pig-inspired afternoon tea sandwiches, freshly-prepared savouries, and sweet treats.

And don't forget - your little ones will also receive our exclusive Peppa Pig travel mug to treasure and keep and our Peppa Pig colouring book to have hours of fun with! Set them up on a rug on the living room floor, and it'll be like having their own teddy bear picnic - remember when Peppa and her family shared a picnic with Mr. Zebra the Postman and Zoe Zebra? You know you've watched that episode!
