Brigit's Wheelchair-friendly Sightseeing Bus Tour

Did you know that we have a wheelchair-friendly bus for our London sightseeing tours? And it's not like any other sightseeing tour - it's an Afternoon Tea tour that takes you through the vibrant streets of London while you get to relax and embrace the charm of a quintessentially British tradition.

Brigit's wheelchair-friendly Sightseeing Routemaster Bus Tour

With the launch of our accessible bus, Brigit's Bakery has created a marvellous blend of inclusivity, elegance, and delectable delights. Our wheelchair-friendly Afternoon Tea sightseeing tours cater to everyone. We guarantee a memorable adventure that celebrates the diversity and spirit of this iconic City.

Our wheelchair-accessible London sightseeing tours

To allow a great experience for all wheelchair users, we modified the bottom level of one of our Routemaster buses to add a ramp. The conversion is the first of its kind in a 1960 classic vehicle. And, we believe, it's a real step forward for the inclusivity and accessibility of private event transport in London.

Our adaptations allow for one wheelchair to be fully secured and strapped in (facing forward) at Table 4. We also have an option to comfortably accommodate two additional wheelchair users. This is as long as the passengers can transfer to a table seat. We can accommodate the additional customers at Tables 1, 2, or 4 and store wheelchairs on board for the duration of the tour.

Please note that we're unable to cater to nut-free, peanut-free, a combination of dairy and gluten-free, a combination of vegan and gluten-free, and Coeliacs. Our gluten-free menu may contain traces. We also kindly request that all allergies be emailed and confirmed by management.

As for drinks, as well as water, a choice of coffees, hot chocolate, and an extensive loose tea selection that accompanies our afternoon tea menu, we also offer alcoholic drinks - if you wish to order any. Our wine list includes sparkling wines (a range of Proseccos and Nyetimber Classic Cuvee), Champagne (Castlenau and Louis Roederer), and seasonal offers (depending on the time of year).

If you're booking on the Gin Lover's Afternoon Tea Bus Tour, you'll enjoy some amazing Bombay Sapphire-infused cakes and tarts as part of your afternoon tea offering, together with three Gin & Tonics:

  • The Sapphire & Tonic. This is our signature G&T served with a lime wedge. Dry, crisp, thirst-quenching, and fruity.
  • Bramble & Ginger. The botanical notes of this drink pair perfectly with the tang of ginger to create a refreshing, slightly sweeter taste.
  • Citron Pressé & Tonic. This is a light and refreshing G&T with a lemon twist, served in a highball glass over cubed ice.
