Case Study: Teletubbies Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

In the summer of 2025 (for two weeks only), we launched and ran our first ever Teletubbies Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. This tour was designed to bring a beautiful blend of nostalgia and culinary fun to our guests. Perfect for families with children aged five and older, it invited our guests to come together for a magical journey through Central London. And what better way to do that than with the playful spirit of the beloved Teletubbies?

The Teletubbies Afternoon Tea Bus Tour - June/July 2025

Our Teletubbies-themed afternoon tea bus tour kicked off on 28 June 2025 and ran through 6 July 2025, offering fantastic memories as families hopped aboard our iconic 1960s Routemaster bus. Departing from Trafalgar Square, guests were whisked away on a whimsical adventure to spot famous landmarks like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Houses of Parliament—all while enjoying our unique afternoon tea!

As our distinctive red double-decker bus rolled through the heart of the city, families were treated to a feast for the senses inspired by the colourful world of Teletubbies. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement as we took everyone on a super entertaining journey.

• Noo-Noo’s Decadent Chocolate Brownie: Rich and indulgent, a true crowd-pleaser.
• Mini Scone with Jam & Clotted Cream: A quintessential afternoon tea staple.

To go with this charming selection, guests could choose from refreshing drink options, including water, fruit juices, coffee, hot chocolate, or a range of fine loose leaf teas. And as with all our other afternoon tea bus tours, we also had Vegan, Vegetarian, Halal, and Gluten-free menu options available.

A grand tour full of colour and fun

What truly set the Teletubbies Afternoon Tea Bus Tour apart was the playful and immersive atmosphere we created for our little guests. With vibrant décor and cheerful music, we transported everyone into the enchanting world of Teletubbies.

As the bus drove along the streets of London, families laughed together, spotted landmarks, and waved “Eh-oh!” to the sights outside. Entertaining our little adventurers

In addition to the yummy treats and journey through London, we made sure all our young guests were engaged and entertained. Each child received a special Teletubbies activity pack filled with fun puzzles, colouring sheets, and stickers. Because what's better than expressing your creativity while having afternoon tea on a touring bus?! Our skilled staff also led sing-alongs and interactive games inspired by the Teletubbies’ playful antics, making each moment a joyful experience.

We also encouraged families to share their favourite memories from the tour on social media. This helped us create a wonderful online community of Teletubbies fans and happy parents. We loved seeing countless smiles, laughter, and shared stories showcasing the magic of the Teletubbies and the joy of togetherness.
