The new MONOPOLY Tea Tour

Launching in January 2025, the MONOPOLY Tea Tour is the latest addition to our fleet of unique, quirky afternoon tea bus tours. It's the perfect blend of adventure, luxury, and fun as you embark on a journey through the heart of London like never before. If you want to spend an afternoon doing something that will delight your senses and challenge your skills, we can't think of anything better!

This one-of-a-kind bus tour combines a traditional London sightseeing tour with a delightful afternoon tea and an interactive digital spin on the classic MONOPOLY game. As you set off from Somerset House on Embankment (Wednesdays to Sundays, 3 departure times a day) your journey begins with an engaging introduction to the rules and setup of the MONOPOLY game by our onboard host.

You'll be competing against your fellow passengers as you navigate through the bustling streets of Central London. While taking in iconic landmarks (such as Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, and the London Eye) from the comfort of our charming Routemaster bus, you get to enjoy your afternoon tea and play a digital version of MONOPOLY.

The MONOPOLY app (available to all customers on the Brigit's Bakery MONOPOLY Bus Tour) is designed to align actual London MONOPOLY Board properties along the bus route within the game. This interactive feature allows you to engage with the real-world locations you're passing through on the tour and learn more about the famous streets and landmarks of London.

The properties on the app mirror those on the standard London MONOPOLY board - with 8 property spaces representing different colours, 4 standard corner squares, 2 utility squares, and 2 train stations. While our tour doesn't follow the exact order of the MONOPOLY board in terms of sequence (starting from GO), the app will ensure that all properties along the route are highlighted, even when they're not directly featured on the game board. This innovative use of technology enriches the tour experience, combining the thrill of a London sightseeing tour with the interactive gameplay elements of MONOPOLY LIFESIZED.

It wouldn't be a Brigit's Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour without a themed menu to match. Our scrumptious MONOPOLY-themed afternoon tea (with freshly baked scones) is complete with a selection of yummy treats. Plus, our friendly staff will offer a choice of hot or cold beverages.
