Hire options

When it comes to the Brigit’s Bakery in Covent Garden, you can hire out the whole bakery or a separate room – the choice is yours and will depend on the size of your party and your individual requirements.

So here are some of your options.

Hire the whole bakery

For larger parties or events, you can hire out the whole venue. We can accommodate up to 60 people seated or up to 100 people standing. This is ideal for launch parties and PR events.

Hire the main restaurant

Situated on the ground floor, the main restaurant is bright and spacious. It can accommodate up to 30 people seated or up to 60 people standing. So it’s the perfect area for your next party or for your product launch. We recently hosted a private event with Petersham Nurseries, and the feedback was fantastic.

Hire one of the rooms downstairs

Downstairs, we have three private rooms of varying size that are perfect for small business meetings, workshops, or more intimate family gatherings. Of course, we understand that staying connected is important, especially if you’re having a work-related meeting, so we provide free Wi-Fi to all our private hire guests.

The Sofa Room

One of our favourite areas has to be the Sofa Room. L-shaped, the Sofa Room is the largest of our downstairs private room. It’s ideal for small parties, meetings, or workshops and can host up to 16 people in total (spread across a number of tables).

The Garden Room

Another area that’s ideal for business meetings, workshops, or small parties or gatherings of up to 10 people, is the Garden Room. With stunning wall arts and chairs to match, our Garden Room makes for a beautiful medium-size room with a vibrant feel to it. Your guests will be impressed!

The Cupcake Room

And last but not least, the Cupcake Room is the smallest of our downstairs rooms. It’s cute, cosy, and quiet. Ideal for very private business meetings or for intimate, special occasions, it can accommodate up to 4 people.

How to book the Brigit’s Bakery – party venue hire in London

If you’re interested in hiring our entire bakery or one of our smaller rooms, we require a pre-order and a booking. We regularly offer and advertise four types of events but we can cater for your specific requirements if these are not suitable:

• morning meetings, where we include a hot beverage and a pastry at £10 per person (or a hot beverage and a hot breakfast at £15 per person) for a 3-hour meeting;
• lunch meetings, where we offer a hot beverage with a choice of sandwich, quiche, or salad for £20 per person;
• afternoon tea party. Available from 2 pm to 5 pm, our afternoon tea party hire gives you the option to enjoy our Traditional Afternoon Tea (served with tea or coffee) from £32 per person.
• evening launch party, hire the full bakery from 6pm onwards for a private party. We can provide catering and bubbly and decorations as required.

Of course, if you have specific dietary requirements, our Traditional Afternoon Tea menu can be replaced with one of our alternative menu choices:

• Vegan afternoon tea.
• Vegetarian afternoon tea.
• Halal afternoon tea.
• or gluten-free afternoon tea.

When you hire one of our buses for a private event or party, you get your own 90-minute private tour departing from either Victoria Station or 8, Northumberland Avenue. Included in the price is afternoon tea (with a choice of tea or coffee) and a free takeaway branded mug for every guest!

You can choose to hire:

• the lower deck (for up to 12 people, seated),
• the upper deck (for up to 20 people, seated),
• or the full bus for 32 people.

Brigit's Boat – Thames Boat Private Hire

And last but not least, if you’re looking for a special venue for an upcoming party or event, did you know you can hire one of the Brigit's Bakery’s vintage boats for a party cruise on the Thames?

Our Edwardian Boat, which boasts a stunning open-deck terrace, can accommodate up to 50 people. And our larger Elizabethian Boat, fully fitted with a dance floor and an open-sky roof, can accommodate up to 120 people. They are ideal for large corporate events and family celebrations with both daytime and evening tours possible.
